A prototype LMP1 powered by Aston Martin of the Charouz Racing System caught an eye of Prince Andrew, His Royal Highness The Duke of York. The meeting took place in the Lola Cars headquarters where the car classified as B06/80 LMP1 Coupé was built. The renowned producer of racing cars celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year and during the celebrations they were honoured by a member of the British Royal Family.

The mission complete. Jan Charouz yesterday set a new unofficial record of the Masaryk Circuit. He clocked 1:43,719 behind the wheel of the Aston Martin powered LMP1 Prototype. The average speed was 187,534. The Charouz Racing system driver had 10 minutes for his run during the break in the Autumn Prix Brno. The fans had a unique opportunity, as the beautiful closed coupe had raced only abroad during the season.
